What is the difference between "allow remote acess" under sys.sysconfigures and "remote access" under sp_configure?

Hi,

 I know the meaning of "remote access" under sp_configure but not sure about "allow remote access" under master.sys.sysconfigures.  I didn't get much information about it while searching on BING.

 Could someone please help me out to understand the difference between them?
