I have an SSIS package that contains multiple execute package tasks, when I run it from BIDS it runs fine, but when I start the job for the master package in SQL Server Agent, it says success but does not actually run. I looked at the log and it shows that the master package started and the first child package started, but neither finished, and no other child package was run.
The master package and all of the child packages are located in the file system. I have tried changing the password settings, and I created a proxy account to run it, but I am not sure what else to try. Currently the master package is set to "encryptallwithpassword" and I set each child package to "encryptsensitivewithpassword".
I am wondering how to get SQL Server Agent to execute the master package and all of the child packages?
