Hi All,
Need a help to fix high memory utilization on one of our sql server 2008 r2 with 3 instances. i have done all the checks which is related to memory , however server is reaching the max memory then it never come down.
it is a VM with Windows cluster enabled with 3 SQL Instance.
Total Memory - 24 GB
Instance one - 8 GB ( Max Memory) - this is sitting on Node 1
Instance Two - 8 GB ( Max Memory) - this is sitting on Node 1
Instance Three - 8 GB ( Max Memory) - this sitting on the Node 2
after fixing max memory in sql server during the peek hour one of the instance goes to its max memory then it never come down if the server is not used or in the normal state . it never come down to normal until i move to node 2 or restart the service. is there any setting or something i missed. help me to fix this.
